Why Bamboo:
Bamboo man made fabrics have many excellent properties. Bamboo blends are breathable and cool, have a nice, natural lustre, are extremely soft, have fast water absorption performance, and are naturally anti-bacterial. Bamboo fibres also draw moisture away from the skin, thereby creating a cooling effect. Bamboo is also naturally anti-bacterial and will not hold odour. The natural fibres are hypoallergenic, meaning they have a decreased tendency to cause allergies.
Bamboo is also extremely fast-growing. The type of bamboo used for making fabric (commonly known as Moso), can reach a mature height of 75 feet in just 45 to 60 days.
